Does the trial version of iCOPS® come with no obligations? And if I like it, can I carry on using it?

There are absolutely no obligations with the trial version of iCOPS®; it is purely a trial for you to see whether or not it meets your needs. Towards the end of the trial we will contact you to see if you would like to purchase a product. Any information you entered during the trial can be carried forward, if you wish.

How do I purchase an iCOPS® product?

If you haven’t signed up for a free trial and would like to purchase iCOPS®, you simply send us some basic details by filling in the form on our Price and Order page. We will then contact you to process your order. Yes it really is that simple!

Are there any savings if I need to buy several products for different services?

Yes, we call these packages. Our packages offer significant savings over buying separate products. See our Price & Order page. If you can’t see the package you would like, please contact us.

I am responsible for several different services; can I access all my iCOPS® products in one place?

Yes, absolutely. You will have a different product for each service, and you can access them all from your iCOPS® home screen.

Can I request a bespoke iCOPS® product i.e. one not on your product list?

Yes, generally. But this may cost extra and require your input. We will be updating our product list from time to time, so please contact us to see if it is on our ‘to do’ list!

What if some of the subject areas in iCOPS® do not apply to my service? Can I ignore them?

Yes! Not all subject areas will apply to every service. You can simply ignore any that are irrelevant. When you produce your action plan and other reports, any subject areas that you have not used will be automatically excluded from your report.

Can I add subject areas?

Products are generally tailored to specific services and should include all the relevant subject areas. However, should you require an additional subject area you will need to contact us. There may be a charge for this service.

How often should we evaluate ourselves on iCOPS®?

This depends on a lot of factors about your organisation, such as how well it is currently performing, how often you are required to report to managers or external agencies, and how many/which staff are to be involved in using iCOPS®.  Some subject areas may require more reporting than others, particularly high risk areas.

Generally speaking we recommend that once you have acquired iCOPS®, a manager or other suitable individual begins an initial evaluation of how well you are doing.

Once you have completed your initial evaluation exercise, we would recommend that self-evaluation is a continuous process so that you are continually keeping your performance under review.

How does working with iCOPS® support us in gaining CECOPS Accreditation?

The iCOPS® products are based on the CECOPS Code of Practice Standards. Working with iCOPS® helps bring your service up to the accreditation standard. Any evidence you generate within iCOPS® can also be used as part of your CECOPS assessment. This would save considerable time and cost.
